Failures are the Stepping Stones to Success!

Image
"Failure teaches you more than success" Failure what does it mean?  Failure is something that gives you a chance to reassess your goal and where you want to go. Then how can be failure negative?  Have you ever thought that every successful thing which is present in the world has also passed through failure once or even more than once.? Thomas Elva Edison who invented the bulb also failed almost 10000 times and at last got success  What happens if he gets disappointed after his 10th attempt or 100th  and never tried? That thought is unexpected! A quote he used to say that " Never get discouraged if you fail. Learn from it. Keep trying." he also said each unsuccessful attempt teaches him and inspires him to do better and the result is in front of us now. The road to success is paved with failure, and the most successful people have usually failed multiple times in their climb to the top. It could be argued that achieving a high level of success is virtually impossible...

Where there’s a will……

Image
Four entrepreneur friends finished a meeting late in the evening and got out on the chilly and windy New York city roads. They were getting late by the passing second, the night sky looming dull and grey, and even the roads were missing the usual traffic. And by saying the roads were empty, I mean to say that the roads lacked one of their most essential and common companions: taxis! And that’s what these four friends noticed, and wondered how such an unusual event had taken place. Taxis and taxi drivers were a very usual sight in the metropolis even at unearthly hours, and their absence told our fellow observers that something wasn’t right. On further enquiry, they learnt that the taxi drivers were on a strike, something which had not happened for many years, at least not in the lifetime of our four friends. And this situation indeed put them into a very unexpected dilemma. But this mild difficulty didn’t root the four on their spots. Instead, they put their entrepreneurship on the lin...

Live on purpose; direction to life.

Image
When we say direction, what comes to our mind is a compass. Have you ever questioned whether there is a need for purpose in your life? Imagine you are in a rainforest of the amazon deep inside shadows of trees even the sun isn’t reaching the ground, and you are clueless, not knowing what way will lead you out of this darkness. If you had a compass, you wish it would be easier to cross the forest, or I can say you would have a ray of hope to survive. So how is this situation related to our life? Often, we live our lives drifting, getting by, trying to find comfort and pleasure, doing what we need not have to do, doing things out of habit, getting lost in the busywork, going through the motions, getting caught up in our thoughts, getting lost in distractions, trying to stick to something but then reverting to habitual patterns, dealing with one crisis after another, putting out fires and sweeping up messes of life, dealing tiredness and stress, depression and anxiety, falling behind ...

MERI AVAAZ ,HI PEHCHAAN HAI

“MERI AVAAZ ,HI PEHCHAAN HAI” -  Lata Mangeshkar did not just sing these lines, she lived them too. It is deeply saddening for India to lose such a legendary singer-The Queen of Melody, our beloved Lata Didi. Her legacy of more than 50,000 songs in over 36 regional languages remains untouched.  There are so many life lessons to learn from her, a life lived extraordinary. She inherited the talent of acting from her father and acted in numerous musical plays. But her talent of  singing, her voice, outshined her acting skills. At the age of 13, she sung her first song for a marathi movie, and her journey of becoming an musical star began… She gave Bollywood its hit songs like  Lag Jaa Gale, Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam, O Paalanhaare and the list goes on.   But all this fame and popularity did not come so easy as it looks, she too faced rejections in her early phase of her career.   She considered herself an eternal ‘student of music.’ ...
