ARUNIMA SINHA:- ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD

  “When I reached the Hillary step, my sherpa told me,’ Arunima, let’s go back. Your oxygen supply is running out.’ Hillary step is just away from Mt Everest. I decided to go ahead come what may. And in about an hour, I was at the top.” In spite of all those hardships, she did it. Her strong will power and attitude and trying till the end made her a legend ! Yes, I am talking about none other than Arunima Sinha, an Indian mountaineer and sportswoman. She is the world’s first female amputee to scale Mount Everest and many more. Let’s know something more about her. EARLY LIFE:- Arunima Sinha was born on 20 th July 1989 in Ambedkar Nagar near Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Her family consisted of her father, her mother ,her elder sister and her younger brother. Her father was in Indian Army and her mother worked as supervisor in Health Department.
