What comes to our mind when we hear the word 'tribal'?
No doubt everyone thinks that tribal people are the most undeveloped people who are deprived of many opportunities, but what if I say that a tribal woman had made her path to the Presidential post! Sounds impossible, right? But the dream has come true for our newly elected president Draupadi Murmu. Let's learn a little about her life
President Murmu has proven everyone wrong and became an inspiration for millions of people. She is the first president born in a republic and independent India with independent thoughts. During the covid situation, she handled the situation so wisely that everyone was inspired by her as a governor of Jharkhand.
Talking about her life, her journey was not a cakewalk, She faced many ups and down in her life. Born in the Santali family, a small tribal community of Odisha, on 20 June 1958. Her father was a farmer, and her grandfather was a sarpanch. At the age of only 5, she moved to Bhubaneswar for higher studies. Do you know the name of our president given by her family? Its Puti Tudi which was earlier changed by her school teacher to Droupadi. Her personal life was very devastating for her, in the span of 7 years she lost her husband, her two sons and her mother too after which clouds of sorrow bloomed over her, and she went into depression. But as something big was written in her fortune, she arise and then never looked back and the results are crystal clear.
She is not only the first woman for a tribal communinty to become governor but also the first to become President. From being a normal school teacher to the President, such a big feat which was achieved by her. She has proved that a teacher, a woman, if determined, can do anything in life. Her life inspires millions of people who are deprived of the facilities and will be a perfect example for the future generation. Despite having so many odd situations President Murmu had made the coins in her favour. It was her perseverance and dedication to achieve the infinity which resulted in her tasting the golden fruit of success.
President Murmu has provided a new vision for the world to see our country. It is not an ancient India anymore, where women were deprived of opportunities, it is a new India where women are achieving the impossible in each and every field. If you are ambitious then break the rules of the world and achieve what you want! If a girl from such a small tribal community can become President then anything is possible in this world.
